"Staying at the Southgate Motor Inn is always my first option when travelling for work. Most hotels/motels close to the Hospital are adequate however the difference has always been Tim and Felicity‘s friendly helpful, open personalities. They clearly enjoy there profession which speaks volumes to my overall positive experience when staying there. I’d highly recommend the Southgate Motor Inn if you need accommodation close to Wellington Hospital."
- Steve R"Our go to motel in Wellington, away from the cbd hustle & bustle. Tim and Felicity are great very friendly hosts, nothing is a bother. We arrived later in the winter evening & found the heatpump & lights on. A lovely warm welcome after a 4 hr drive
The room has plenty of space. Bed very comfortable & lovely fresh linen & towels. Easy access large bathroom with a spa bath. Clean kitchenette with plenty of choices of complimentary teas / coffees or hot chocolates.

- Rachell Dew"I can not speak highly enough about the Southgate Motor Inn. It is right across the road from hospital the room was spacious very clean and the large king bed was very comfy. The staff were super friendly and understanding. There is a supermarket within walking distance and some nice cafes where you can get a good coffee or breakfast."
